Johanna Almaza was raised in a small town in Connecticut and graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Business Management. After college, Johanna went on to work in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. Her family ties led her to Sarasota where she fell in love with the area and of course the amazing year-round weather.

Johanna is an extremely driven person, which translates into smooth closings for her clients. Her robust business experience and success-oriented attitude allows her to provide the greatest value to clients. She knows how to listen, and demonstrates the perfect blend of assertiveness and compassion. She keeps busy in her free time walking her dog, gardening and spending quality time with her husband, who is a police officer for Sarasota County.

Her philanthropic ambitions stem from her deep love for animals. In the future she plans to establish a shelter for rescued animals.
