Before entering real estate, James worked in finance, helping employees of large corporations navigate retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans. He became known for simplifying complex information and helping people move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling confident, a skill he now brings to every real estate relationship.
James’ path to real estate was shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Growing up, he watched his family transform investment properties through real estate, and his own experience buying and selling a condo in Chicago showed him how much the right agent can impact the client experience. After working in a remote environment, he wanted a career that allowed him to build deeper relationships and be more hands-on during some of life’s biggest decisions.
While attending Texas Christian University, James gained valuable experience working with the TCU basketball program, assisting with practices, breaking down film, helping coordinate recruiting visits, and welcoming prospective student-athletes to campus. That experience strengthened his understanding of preparation, teamwork, and the importance of creating a positive experience from the first interaction.
As a Sarasota-area REALTOR®, James enjoys helping clients discover the opportunities throughout the region, from starter homes to luxury properties and homes with potential for thoughtful improvements. His analytical approach, attention to detail, and knowledge of the Sarasota and Venice markets help clients make informed choices. Outside of real estate, James enjoys spending time at the beach with his dog, playing tennis, exploring Florida’s parks, and taking advantage of the lifestyle that makes the area such a special place to call home.
